this was for a drawing project at school [create an abstract self portrait] you would never know that underneath all that darkness, theres a smiling face. anyways, I was very satisfied with it, so i decided to share. (sorry my scanner wasnt big enough for this picture so i took a pic of it)
This is really awesome - you should try experimenting with digitally manipulating this photo. It might have some cool results... make it darker, more contrasting. Just a though - awesome work all the same
thAts badass, looks like rotting flesh, something we all turn to once we are gone, gives yiou that erie feeling of "im walking on things that used to look this way" grotesque and satisfying, yet another awesome piece by you. lata
it looks brilliant...and im not sure if u planned it or not but it looks like theres a skull mixed into the (your) right cheek...which looks quite good and goes well with the dark theme
no, when i was making the image (not the drawing), i just took a picture of myself, and then a pic of some liquid dripping down a wall and set the blending style as Exclusion (i think), and then tweaked around with levels... then i drew the image i made. that is kind of a cool idea though to cross my face and a skeleton... might be something for the future
